2012 BMW 650i Coupe

BMW 6 Series Concept presented at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, the new 6-Series coupes exterior shape is clean, sculpted, and a refreshing change from the previous model. The designers worked to give the coupe and convertible rooflines similar, although the hardtop does not receive slim C-pillars, which include the distinctive marks Hofmeister kink. The cars make use of the BMW 650i twin-turbo 4.4-liter V-8, which is rated at 400 horsepower between 5500 and 6400 rpm and 450 pound-feet of torque from 1750 to 4500 rpm. BMW’s eight-speed automatic transmission is standard but a six-speed manual is optional – and, curiously, just so the cars bound for North America.

The innovations in the new BMW 6 Series Coupe also extend the lighting technology in the form of adaptive headlights LED. Its bright white lighting gives a very intense and evenly distributed the road. This technology is unmatched in the segment and also allows the beam of the headlights to the curves of the road. Still highly recognizable as a 6 Series coupe, the appearance of a new car is more elegant and smoother than the car it replaces. Approximately 1.5 cm wider and 3 inches longer, with a wheelbase of 112.4 inches, the 6-Series coupe is a new larger car, more spacious than its predecessor, but with aluminum doors and hood with the trunk, front fenders, and roof to be constructed in reinforced composite to reduce weight.
